Summer road trip in UK!

Before embarking on our road trip around the UK, I'm back in London for a couple of days from my Europe trip! I love London so much, it is so amazing to be back here. The food, i truly missed! Brought my friends to some markets in London (Borough, Bricklane), and also to some attractions in London. We also visited the PYO(Pick your own) farm in North London. ;)
My favourite doughnuts from Borough market!

A tourist shot with tower bridge!

Just chilling in Green park like everyone else, enjoy summer!

Rachel is getting excited to dig into her lobster!! (Burger&Lobster)
Sunset in Hyde Park
Finally tried Duck and Waffle after a month reservation in advance. I would say it is pretty good but not the best waffles I've eaten. The view was spectacular. Book your table in advance before your trip!

The PYO farm is only open in Summer when the fruits are in harvest. There were so many people there! If you love fruits, you have to visit! The nearest train station is Gordon Hill, and a 20minute walk to the farm.

Hadley Road, Enfield

On Monday, we collected our car at Heathrow in the morning. It is expensive to drive in UK if you are under the age of 25. We paid £27.50/day on extra on top of car rental. For 4days of rental, we paid 219£ for car (Economy car, diesel). I guess it is pretty worth it if you have 3-5people to split. Definitely so cheap if you have someone that is above the age of 25 to drive.

Our first stop is Cotswold!

Snowshill lavender farm is located at Hill Barn Farm Cottage, Broadway, Snowshill, Worcestershire. You will not miss that huge piece of land! I never knew that there were so many species of lavenders. I've been to Mayfield lavender farm which is located in Surrey, but this is really 10x better!

Broadway tower is only 5minutes drive from Snowshill Lavender farm.

Next, we drove to Stratford Upon Avon for dinner.

Shakespeare house

We booked an accommodation on our way to Birmingham(£39). A short night there before we hit Alton tower theme park at Staffordshire the next morning! Spent an entire day there! Then, we booked accommodation in Liverpool (£30)
Moose cafe for breakfast. The best breakfast I had! IT IS SO GOOD. I want to book a ticket to Liverpool just for this! That salted caramel pancakes with poached apples.. £7 if I'm not wrong! Huge portion!

After breakfast, drove to Snowdonia National Park in Wales.

Snowdonia is located in North of Wales, it is a huge National Park. Most of the routes are scenic! I don't think it is possible to visit without a car! Everyone drives then start hiking at some point.

We left Snowdonia at sunset, and the roads were horrible. it was total darkness if our headlights are off. We saw bunnies, sheep crossing. Haven ever experienced something like that! Thank god that my friend is a really alert driver! Arrived in Cardiff after midnight, a short stay before heading to Bournemouth the next day!

It is my first time in Bournemouth and I'm already loving it. It is a really small town but everyone just chills on the beach, enjoying the sun. Sadly there weren't much water activities available on this beach.
Set off early the next month and headed to Salisbury for breakfast before arriving at Stonehenge. It cost £13.90-14.90 for an entry if you are not going with a tour.

Our trip lasted for 5D4N. We booked out accommodation really last minute and the price ranges from £30-45/night. (Birmingham, Liverpool, Cardiff, Bournemouth). For diesel and toll charges, we pooled in £30 each for the entire trip.

Hope you enjoyed your summer too! :)
