The first day in Paris, I was pretty much zombified as I couldn't/did not sleep the night before. Came back late from Barcelona and didn't manage to do much research on Paris. Manage to be on time for eurostar. I love eurostar seriously, its convenient and fast. Seats are much more comfy and spacious compared to flights! The last day me and Jenny MISSED OUT TRAIN T.T was so lucky that the next train was just less than an hour after and we dont have to pay more. Lucky! If we were to miss a flight, i guess we probably have to buy another ticket.
Took some time to find the apartment we are staying at Gare du Nord, near the eurstar train station. Kinda lucky that I understand a bit of french but seriously its way too basic to converse with them. They speak so fast, my brain just could not react in time to reply. NOT GIVING UP, GONNA BRUSH UP MY FRENCH!
Boulanger, a very commonly seen bakery which sells tarts and sandwiches I crave everyday! We have to grab it everyday when we pass the station.
This was taken at Gallery Lafayette Hommes(mens) building. There were tons and tons of awesome Japanese, French bakery at the basement! So sad that I didn't try it as me and jenny stuffed ourselves with pastries and macaroons! I even saw Wasabi flavoured macaroons!
The ceiling of Gallery Lafayette
How I wish I have a thick stack of cash and just get Celine, Givenchy, Balenciaga, YSL. GOD, they have freaking nice colours. In Singapore I never really felt like getting any because their collections are so limited. I thought London was already great, but Paris, 'stressant' (stress). Its really H-E-A-V-E-N when you have money, H-E-L-L when you are penniless.
Pierre herme can be found around lafayette. They have yogurt with lime, raspberry flavours. SO GOOD!! But i think it is more expensive than London though! Need that flavours againnnnn.
The grand Abercrombie and Fitch. There were no shirtless model sadly. The store is mind-blowing.
The ultimate huge Laduree at Champe Elyees! Did not dine in this time as we don't really have time, but I WANT TO NEXT TIME!
Biggest LV store I've seen, at Champs Elyees.
Walking on further, we saw the Arc de triomphe. It is located at the center of Place Charles de Gaulle.
After a long walk, we finally arrived at Eiffel Tower! Pardon my tourist shots, everyone will be like me when you first see this okay! Can't describe how happy I am to be here. J'taime Paris
Best churros I ever had! Just a pop up store a stone throw away from eiffel tower! Really generous to give us the whole jug of nutella. Nutella overload
Right after our churros, we went to a French restaurant 2mins away from Eiffel Tower. I'm so full already but I just have to get my french onion soup!!! SUPER LOVEEE! Wish I had 4stomach for this.
Best Confit de Canard! HANDS DOWN
Walked back towards the Eiffel Tower as I really want to get a shot of it with the lights on! *beams*
Day 2!
Daily dosage of pastry!
Paris Disneyland! Got my paris disneyland tickets in advance and I ordered it from ISIC so we only paid 35euros each for 2Parks! So lucky to be a student teehee! Entrances at the door is 50euros
DUFFY!!!
It was Paris Disneyland's 20th anniversary so there was a colorful train with some disney characters which everyone is familar!! The atmosphere was so lively with music and all. The children were totally going cray cray!
Excuse-moi, I need to take a shot in front of my castle! Wheres my Prince? HAHAHAHA!
This was in a maze. Feel like I'm in a Small small world in there!
MY FAV RIDE OF THE DAY! SPACE MOUNTAIN!
Day 3
The famous Norte Dame. The queue was insane, Jenny told me its free to go in! That explains why!
Afterthat, we walked along the river/canal and arrived at Pont de Arts! Its just behind Louvre Museum! Couples ya la ya la, just go and lock ok. HAHAHAH! Pretty impressed that there were many locks that were engraved so nicely, some even had their pictures on it. Speechless.
Sorry, I am single so I dont feel any love in the air HAHAHAHA
Louvre!!
Thanks Jenny for this picture, super love!
Pierre Herme againn!
Dine in at Le Royal recommended by Cheryl. SO GOOD! I dont even like potatoes but the mash was so good. I could pull it so high and just see the cheese stretch~ Ok, I feel hungry now.
