Cinnamon Kitchen , Anise Bar, Play Holi!

During the meet up last month with the Nuffnang bloggers, we were invited to Cinnamon Kitchen, Anise bar for some cocktails, nibbles and also a cocktail masterclass! All of us are excited once we stepped into Devonshire Square at Liverpool Street! It is just a 2minute walk from the station, you won't get lost!

Upon arrival, we were served with some nibbles and a unique Bellini! Have you tried a Cinnamon Bellini? It is something that I have never tasted! It was refreshing!
Not to forget the highlight of the day!! Play Holi! (Sorry guys, this is only available till 22March2014) Don't be disappointed that there isn't any Holi game now, you are still able to join great food, amazing cocktails with good company! Anise bar is a really nice place to relax and have drinks :)

They have everything prepared for us! Literally from head to toe!

Little photo before the war! Each of us gets to choose 2 colours of our choice!

Within seconds..

Look how amazing we look! Fret not! The powder is made of rice flour, and is completely biodegradable and compostable! We can easily wipe it off with wet tissues provided. I washed my clothes that are stained and they were absolutely washable

An Oscar selfie!! #Nuffnangis007

Next, its time for our cocktail masterclass at Anise Bar !

Its Bloomzy and me :)

We were served with Pom pom, a signature cocktail in Anise Bar! No one can resist it, haven ever tasted something similar! We were taught to eat the cucumber and drink the cocktail. OMG, excellent.

Its thegirlnextshore, the bartender :)

All the cocktails have its unique taste! I am definitely bringing my friends with me for more! Its such a good place to chill in London, and also a stone throw away from Liverpool Street Station. How convenient! The masterclass is so much fun with the bloggers!

My Biggest Adventure

I have been thinking for a while, what is my biggest adventure in my life? Oh well, its probably me dropping out of polytechnic and pursued a diploma in a private school, and here I am in London! I remember working long hours to try paying back my parents that are supportive with my decision. Wow, time really flies. I can't believe I'm turning 21 this year, and also getting my Bachelor degree!!

Next, I will be going inter railing for 1 entire month in Summer! It will be the greatest adventure I am up to!!! I'm not rich but I just want to explore little towns and get lost. You don't need to be rich to explore the world, when there is a will, there is a way. Im struggling but to travel, I don't mind surviving on just bread with spread. After all, its all the life time experience you will receive.

In the end, we will only regret the chance we didn't take. So do it.

clueQuest The Live Escape GAME.

A few days ago, I was invited by Nuffnang to have a night out with some of the bloggers. Cluequest was one of the highlights of the day! It is a real life escape game that was located at East London. At first, I was skeptical about the reviews on Trip advisor. It is rank number 1 in attractions of London!! How can I not know of!

Met up with the bloggers for the first time! 10 of us are broke up into 2groups of 5! We were basically locked in a room for 60 minutes and we have to solve little mysteries that are all around the room! The founders of clueQuest built and designed the game from scratch to give everyone a unique experience. The room, the props, literally everything!

If we were stuck for too long, Mr Q ( the creator of the game) will send us some hints on the walkie talkie or on the screen in the room! How amazing!! I can say that the difficulty level is not that high! Mr Q is just being tricky! Im sure its a good game for family as well!

Definitely it is the most exciting ice breaker game I've ever played. I truly enjoy my time there, and I get to know more about the other bloggers too! It was a fruitful night :)

You should not hesitate! Mr Q is waiting for you to accept this challenge!

It is just a stone throw away from Shoreditch High Street station! Book your escape now! Up to 5players to book at Escape! (Minimium 3)

Check out their website for more details!

Big Easy Covent Garden soft launch

Hi there!

So, I managed to get a table on Big Easy's soft launch today! They are really generous to offer a 50% on all food. No doubt that it has the best lobster in London! I'm a huge fan of BE but it is so tedious to travel to King's Road all the time! Click here to check out my post on Big Easy Kings Road:) I was elated when I knew that they will be opening in Covent Garden! So much more convenient!  I already made reservations to be back next week! Im not paid to be advertising for them, it is really worth all the calories.

It is located a stone throw away from Covent Garden station! You won't miss it when you arrive at Maiden Lane :) We were greeted warmly throughout our whole dining experience! The servers are all dressed in checkered shirt, a huge smile at all time! Thumbs up!! Im loving the whole concept of BE Covent Garden.

Just look at the stunning bar! This is not the only bar! The other is at the lower ground, which looks pretty cosy!

Look how spacious is it! Definitely so much better than the one at King's Road! There are more seatings available here.

Since we had 50% off food, the manager told us to go "BIG". Yes, we did it. We ordered a 3lb lobster, and St Louis Pork Ribs!

All lobster meals comes with a complimentary beer or a slushie cocktail. We had Strawberry Daiquiri.

BIBS ON! Look at my excited face :>

Here it is!!! Im sorry if you are starting to drool. If you are hungry, you can exit this page now  #iwarnedyou

Presenting to you, Dry-Rubbed St Louis Pork Rib. It is served with pit smoked beans, coleslaw and potato salad (£14.95)
*Creamy spinach does not comes with this meal! We ordered separately on the side (£3.95)

Our 3lb lobster served with chips and a portion of green salad (£35)
We chose garlic butter to go along! Drawn butter and Hollandaise are the other options available.
Does it look like an ordinary 1 1/2 lb lobster to you?? IT IS NOT! ILL PROVE IT!

Look at this red monster! Yes, no doubt a 3lb lobster.

Lastly, it won't be complete without a dessert. Apple Cinnamon with Homemade waffles! It was a letdown. I guess this places isn't for desserts! The waffles tasted like Belgian waffles, I expected something crispy and fluffy!
Overall, it was fantastic! Great atmosphere, food and service! Thank you Big Easy for the experience of dining in today! It officially opens on 17March! To book a table, click here.

Broadway Market

It was a lovely Saturday morning, it is good weather in London again :) Decided to explore Broadway market with Belda! Its my first time here and I'm loving it.

Broadway market is located at a walking distance from Bethnal Green tube station. It only opens on Saturday, from 9am to 5pm. This little small street has it's charm! They have everything! Cakes, coffee, meat, burgers, clothing, accessories. YOU NAME IT! We were indecisive on what to eat, what to get. Spoilt for choices!

Glorious smoked salmon

Belda claims that its a Aubergine feast! This stall has loads of salads to choose from! Selling at £3 per pot. You can mix all you want!

 Some savoury pies/tarts for you?

Sweet tarts

Chocolate truffles

Olives! Am not a fan, sorry! ;)
The lemon drizzle with pistachio one is so good
Happy Belda with her £2 tart

Mini dutch pancakes is my favourite! Soft inside, crispy inside!

I see Malteses brownies!
More cakes!

Do visit when you are here in London on a Saturday! Its definitely worth your visit!
